Iconic Wildflowers of the National Parks

Welcome!

If you're a wildflower enthusiast or a fan of America's Best Idea, the National Parks, you'll love a great new project I am working on. It's still in the formative, idea stage as I write this, but I am working on an app for mobile devices that will serve as both a field guide and as a personal field log of sorts for the amateur naturalist.

I hope you'll check back as the season begins in earnest this summer. My goal is to post both updates on this project as well as information and pictures about key species.

As it stands today, my duty station will again be Wonder Lake in Denali National Park and Preserve. A remote yet often-photographed landscape of Alaska, Wonder Lake has magnificent views of Mount McKinley and is home to fascinating plants and animals. Join me as I study them!
